Anubis: control, trades and rotations

Overview

An original practice plan for Anubis. These are tactical exercises, not tested grenade lineups.

Callouts to learn together

Community names to cross-check against your team and the current layout: Canal / Water, Mid, Bridge, Connector, A Main, B Main.

Review the round

Ask what information your team actually had when it committed. Separate a missed shot from an unsupported entry, a late trade or a rotation without evidence.

Agree the opening

Use a pair to collect water information while another pair holds an outer approach. Decide on the split after you know which lanes are defended.

Set the defence

Assign water information explicitly. Do not assume another defender can see the lower approach from their position.

Check the rotation

A sound at one entrance is not the bomb. Keep the opposite site covered until your team has stronger evidence.

Practise one useful action

Choose one site entrance. Test a repeatable smoke from a safe stance, then have a teammate check both edges for gaps.
