Mirage: Mid control and vision calls

Choose a Mid exit together and tell the team when a watching position is empty.

Last checked 2026-09-27

Overview

Explore the named locations in 3D and practise two team decisions. These exercises do not simulate sightlines, timings or grenade throws.

Callouts to learn together

Community names to cross-check against your team and the current layout: A Ramp, Palace, Connector, Jungle, Mid, Window, Short, B Apartments, Market.

Review the round

Ask what information your team actually had when it committed. Separate a missed shot from an unsupported entry, a late trade or a rotation without evidence.

Agree the opening

Contest mid with cover and a trade partner. Let the information decide whether to split A, split B or regroup; do not commit alone through Connector.

Set the defence

Tell the anchors when Window or Short no longer has vision. Pick a fallback so a lost mid duel does not also give away a free site.

Check the rotation

Mid control opens both sites. Do not rotate every defender on the first utility thrown at an entrance.

Practise one useful action

Practise blocking one mid sightline, then test the smoke from both sides. Repeat until your own stance and throw are consistent.
